Lookery.com Breaks Down Wineblogger by Demographics

Lookery, an advertising and user-targeting network for websites, has recently featured Wineblogger.net on their front page! Statistically, Lookery mentions that Winebloggers primary traffic source is from the USA, and more specifically, from California and Georgia. Why would we have so much traffic from Georgia? Any thoughts? (you must register with Lookery to see the full statistical break-down of Wineblogger.info).
Internationally, Sweden, Portugal, Netherlands and Spain are the four primary traffic sources, listed in consecutive order. What is interesting to me, is that neither the Germans nor the Italians are listed as top traffic sources considering that we have a healthy listing of wine blogs sourced from both countries, while very few wine blogs are sourced from the Netherlands.
Could this be because the Dutch have been known to speak a wide variety of languages, while having ample amounts international wines available to them, whereby creating a desire to hunt for more information? I really don’t know, but I find the statistics fascinating! What do you think?
Finally, age. Although half of our traffic is logically driven by people aged 25-34, 25% is driven by people aged 18 to 24. Is this trend indicative of the tech savvy generation, and/or is this statistic demonstrative of the growing wine loving population?
What do you think about these statistics? What do they tell us, if anything?
Cheers,
Gabriella Opaz

That is the question I want answered also – why Georgia? I thought the GA would be more “beer country”, but there must be a wine country/wine group building in maybe the Atlanta area or Savannah (old southern / traditional city). ? No clue, but worth the investigation for you all possibly.
Thanks for the link back to us!
