When I blog I always try to remember to present any bias up front ("I'm a member of the winery's wine club" or "I tend to like my <varietal> with more/less <thingy>"), but most importantly I always say "This is my opinion and my experience with this wine/winery/etc". To me, even taking such small steps when providing reviews in a blog goes a long way. Well said.
