Exciting news for wine bloggers!!!

What is Zemanta?

Zemanta is a plug-in that helps make your blog writing more efficient and effective by suggesting the most relevant images, smart links, keywords and text to your new blog posts. We’ve used this tool for over a year now, and have found it to be a life saver. Where it fell short of our expectations previously, was that it tended to offer non-wine related suggestions, leaving wine bloggers like us in the dark. Fortunately, this has changed!

Zemanta Now References English Wine Bloggers

Zemanta is now referencing English written wine blogs from Wineblogger.info in their directory. This means, that when I write a blog post on the increase of Chardonnay in Spain, and it just so happens that a wine blogger like yourself has also referenced this same issue, Zemanta will pick up your article and offer it as a suggested text or link in my post (see the footer links in the post)! This not only helps fellow wine bloggers, but this helps your SEO as well. Plus,  it feels good to provide relevant content to your readers!

The other fantastic aspect of this new feature is that we’ll all start becoming more familiar with new blogs, and articles, we weren’t familiar with before. So rather than referencing Wikipedia for French barrels, I can now potentially reference an article written by a wine blogger on the history of French barrel-making.

Zemanta in Non-English Languages

Although Zemanta is not referencing non-english wine blogs as of yet, this is on their radar in the future. So stay tuned!
